My
name is Angelica,
and today I
truly believe
that I am a
survivor. I
would have never
been in the
place I am today
without the
DV classes at
Adelante. The
staff has provided
me with a safe
place to express
my fears, ups
and downs, my
strengths and
weaknesses.
To me there
is nothing more
empowering than
a group of women
who have been
through the
same situation
sharing stories
with each other.
It is therapeutic
to us all. -
Angelica
